The WT-4020 is an open-frame sheet metal laser cutting machine with an exchange table and a working format of 2050 × 4050 mm, offered from 3,000 to 12,000 W. Bigger bed than the 1530 class, and a second platform: one sheet gets loaded while another is being cut.
Our website says the table exchange takes 15 seconds. Read that as a stated figure for the machine. It isn't a promise about your parts, and your people still unload the cut sheet. What the exchange table buys is beam time. The laser waits less while somebody handles material, and how much that's worth depends on how often you change sheets.
So do the sum on your own day first. Say you change sheets many times a shift, and each change stops the beam. Then a second platform pays back in minutes. Cutting long runs off one sheet type? A single table may be all you need, and we'd rather you decide on that than on a model number.

FAQ
Is the WT-4020 fully enclosed?
No, it's an open frame machine. For a closed cutting area look at the WT-6025, or at the compact WT-3015S in the smaller format. The buying guide compares open and enclosed layouts.
Is an exchange table the same as an auto feeder?
No. An exchange table is a second platform on the machine. Automatic loading and unloading is a separate system with a gantry loader and an exchange cart, described on the auto feeder page.
How long does the table exchange take?
Our website states 15 seconds. That's the machine's stated figure, not the time your whole sheet change will take.
Will a 2050 × 4050 mm sheet fit with room to clamp?
The format is the working area, so a sheet of exactly that size leaves no margin. Plan for clamping and nesting, tell us the largest sheet you really cut, and we'll match it to a model in the quotation.
